Snow Sports
The Fairways is surrounded by three ski resorts. Powder Mountain is just five miles up UT158; Snowbasin Resort is a short 30-minute drive around Pineview reservoir and Nordic Valley Ski Resort is only 6 miles away on the west side of the valley. Cross-country skiers and snowshoe enthusiasts can venture up North Fork Park and Ogden Nordic, a short 17 minute drive from the Fairways.
Golf
Wolf Creek Golf Course, which overlooks the Ogden Valley, is a semi-private 18-hole mountain course, known for its challenging layout and its beautiful scenery.
Water Sports
Pineview Reservoir, in the middle of the Ogden Valley, offers many opportunities for boating, kayaking, windsurfing, paddle boarding, water skiing, swimming, and fishing. In addition, Causey Reservoir, a 142-acre alpine reservoir restricts motorized boats, making it an idyllic spot for kayaks, canoes and stand up paddleboards. Causey reservoir is just 21 miles east of the Fairways via UT39.
Tennis & Pickleball
The Fairways has its own tennis court, which is marked with pickle ball lines. In addition, there are outdoor courts at Snowcrest Junior High School as well as in the town of Huntsville. Indoor courts are available in the town of Huntsville by reservation.
Hiking & Biking
Hiking and biking trails abound throughout the Ogden Valley, Uinta-Wasatch-Cache National Forest, Powder Mountain, Snowbasin Resort and North Fork Park. Eden Valley Trails is dedicated to building and maintaining a sustainable and interconnected trail system in the Ogden Valley that welcomes and accommodates all users. Whether you enjoy hiking, road biking or off-road biking, you will find no shortage of opportunities to explore in the Ogden Valley and surrounding area.
Dark Skies
North Fork Park was designated an International Dark Sky Park in April 2015. The Ogden Valley Starry Nights initiative supports the Ogden Valley in joining a select group of Western state mountain resort destinations offering an increasingly rare opportunity to experience the stars, moon and milky way.
